Invicta FC 31 Adds Ninth Fight; Bout to Stream Live on Facebook

Kansas City, Mo. — A ninth bout has been added to the Invicta FC 31 lineup and, for the first time ever, the world’s leading platform for women’s MMA will live stream the action on its Facebook page.

The fight will take place in the flyweight division and will feature newcomers Chantel Coates and Ashlynn Kleinbeck, who will both be making their professional debuts. Coates is an Army veteran who compiled an undefeated record as an amateur. Kleinbeck, meanwhile, was a wrestler in her youth and now holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Invicta FC 31 takes place Saturday, Sept. 1, from the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. It will be headlined by a strawweight title clash between Brazilians Virna Jandiroba (13-0) and Janaisa Morandin (10-1). The event will kick off with the Coates-Kleinbeck match-up streaming live and free on Facebook at 6:30 p.m. CT. The remaining eight bouts will stream live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. CT.
